This stress-induced fatigue can make your blood pressure high and needs to be monitored.
Which tablets are most effective against high blood pressure? High blood pressure (arterial hypertension) is one of the most common chronic diseases worldwide and a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack, stroke and kidney failure. Drug therapy aims to bring the blood pressure to a healthy value (<140/90 mmHg, and for older patients occasionally <To reduce 150/90 mmHg), and thus to reduce the risk of complications. The main groups of antihypertensive agents For the treatment of hypertension various groups of Drugs are available which have different mechanisms of action: ACE inhibitors (e.g., Enalapril, Ramipril): The Angiotensin‑converting enzyme (ACE) inhibiting, reducing the formation of Angiotensin II (a potent vasoconstrictor) is reduced. Lead vessels to a Dilatation of the blood, and reduce the peripheral vascular resistance. Are considered to be drugs of first choice in patients with Diabetes mellitus or kidney disease. AT1‑receptor blockers (Sartans) (e.g., Losartan, Valsartan): Blocking the effect of Angiotensin II to the AT1 receptors. Have a similar effect as ACE inhibitors, can cause less of the typical cough as a side effect. Calcium channel blockers (e.g., amlodipine, nifedipine): Inhibit the influx of calcium ions into the smooth muscle cells of the blood vessels. Lead to vasodilation and lowering peripheral resistance. Are particularly effective in older patients and in isolated systolic hypertension. Diuretics (e.g., hydrochlorothiazide, indapamide): Increase the excretion of water and salt through the kidneys. The blood, reduce the volume, and therefore blood pressure. It is often used in combination therapies. Beta-blockers (e.g., Metoprolol, Bisoprolol): Dampen the effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline on the β‑receptors of the heart. To reduce the heart rate and cardiac output. Especially in patients with heart failure or after a heart attack to use. Which drugs are most effective? An absolute ranking of the most effective tablets can't create, since the effectiveness is heavily dependent on individual factors: Co-morbidities: Diabetes or proteinuria ACE inhibitors or Sartans, are preferred; in the case of heart failure, beta-blockers, and mineralocorticoid receptor play antagonists a Central role. Age: calcium antagonists and diuretics in the elderly is often particularly effective. Ethnicity: the Case of African‑American patients, calcium antagonists and diuretics often show better efficacy than ACE inhibitors alone. Side effects: ACE inhibitors can cause cough; beta-blockers may cause fatigue or erectile dysfunction. According to current guidelines (e.g., the European Society of Cardiology), it is recommended combination therapy in the majority of patients to reach the goal. Frequent effective combinations are: ACE inhibitor + calcium antagonist (e.g. Perindopril + amlodipine) Sartan + diuretic (e.g., Candesartan + hydrochlorothiazide) Conclusion The most effective medicine against high blood pressure and there, the therapy should be adjusted individually. In practice, ACE inhibitors, Sartans, calcium antagonists and diuretics prove to be particularly effective options, often in combination. Close coordination with the treating doctor, regular blood pressure measurements and adjustment of the dose are crucial for the success of the therapy. Early detection and accurate diagnosis are therefore of crucial importance, in order to save the lives of patients and improve the quality of life significantly. In this context, the method for the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases according to Gorokhova is gaining increasing attention as an approach, the innovative techniques with classical methods combined. The method Gorokhova is based on a comprehensive analysis of the physiological parameters that are relevant for the function of the cardiovascular system. In contrast to conventional methods, which are often focused on individual aspects, such as blood pressure or ECG parameters considered in this approach the body as a complex, interacting System. The following parameters are studied very intensively: Blood flow dynamics Using high-resolution ultrasound techniques, the blood flow is analysed in the different vessels, in order to detect narrowing, or changes in the vessel wall at an early stage. Heart rate variability (HRV): The variability of time intervals between heart beats provides important information on the autonomic nervous system, and can reveal risks for heart rhythm disorders. Bioelectrical impedance: This method allows the assessment of tissue composition and fluid distribution in the body, which is for the diagnosis of heart failure is of great importance. Long-term monitoring: patients wear over a longer period, devices that record various parameters continuously. Such episodic events that remain in the case of short investigations, often undetected. An essential feature of the method is its predictive orientation. To diagnose rather than just existing diseases, are also identified subclinical changes, which indicate an increased risk. As a result, new opportunities for preventive action open before symptoms occur. Practical application and advantages In practice, it shows that the method Gorokhova is, in particular, in the following patient groups of advantage: People with a family history of suffering from heart diseases; Patients with unclear symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness, or irregular heartbeat; Athletes, in which an intense load on the heart disease risk may increase; older people with multiple risk factors. Key benefits include: The early detection of disease beginnings are clearly detected earlier than standard tests. Individual risk assessment: Each Patient receives a personalized assessment of cardiovascular risk. Non‑invasive, and comfortable: The majority of studies do not require surgery and are comfortable to the patient. Data-based Monitoring: The data collected will allow the long-term monitoring of the health status and the Verification of the efficacy of therapy approaches. Challenges and Outlook Despite the promising results, the method is still challenging. Their broad introduction requires specialized equipment and trained personnel, which increases the cost first. In addition, further long-term studies to confirm the effectiveness of different groups of the population. Nevertheless, the current results suggest that the method of diagnosis can afford to Gorokhova an important contribution to the modernisation of cardiology. By combining prevention, precision, and patient centering, opens you to new ways to combat cardiovascular diseases in a more effective and to strengthen the health of the population in a sustainable way. Alarm and cardiovascular diseases ** Which tablets are most effective against high blood pressure **. What cure diseases of the heart and vascular surgeons? The heart and the vascular system are of critical importance in ensuring that oxygen and nutrients to reach each cell of the body. But what happens when life interferes with important machinery? Here, cardiac and vascular surgeons come into the game — Doctors who treat by surgical interventions, cardiovascular diseases, and often save lives. What belongs to the field of application of these specialists? Cardiovascular surgeons operate on the heart, the valves of the heart, the coronary arteries, as well as the large and small vessels of the entire body. Your objective: causes of disease, to eliminate blood circulation disorders and the normal Functioning of the cardiovascular system restore. Typical diseases that are treated by cardiac and vascular surgeons: Coronary heart disease (CHD). In this disease, the heart arteries (coronary arteries) become narrow due to deposits (atherosclerosis), so that the heart is not receiving enough oxygen. Surgical procedures such as Bypass surgery forth to create a Way for the blood and make the blood flow again. Heart valve defects. Defective heart valve is too tight or leaking disrupt the flow of blood. By flaps repair or valve replacement (mechanical or biological Valves) can restore normal function. Aneurysms. An aneurysm is a bulge of an artery, which can rip below in the Fort. Especially dangerous aneurysm of the occipital artery (Aorta) are. The surgical treatment consists of removal of the damaged portion and the use of a vascular prosthesis (Stent or Grafte). Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (paod). Here constrict arteries and seal the outside of the heart (e.g., in the legs) the flow of blood. Through procedures such as angioplasty (Dilatation of the artery) or Bypass the blood flow to the affected limb can be restored, often this is to prevent an Amputation. Arrhythmias. Certain heart rhythm disorders can be treated through minimally‑invasive procedures such as catheter ablation. This pathological Bodies are obliterated in the heart to restore normal rhythm. Heart failure and transplant surgery. In severe cases, when the heart loses its pumping capacity is strong, can be a heart transplant is necessary. Cardiac surgeons perform these complex procedures and monitoring the follow-up. Vascular occlusion and embolization. Acute closures of arteries (e.g. due to blood clots) require the fastest possible surgical removal to prevent damage to tissue or organ damage. Advances in cardiac and vascular surgery Dieuch the techniques are always gentle: Minimally invasive procedures and robot-assisted surgery will reduce the stress for the patient, shorten recovery time and reduce the risk of complications. Nevertheless, the Expertise of the surgeon remains the crucial factor: your Knowledge, your experience and precision make the difference between success and quality of life after the procedure. Conclusion Cardiac and vascular surgeons to heal not a single disease, but to treat a wide range of life-threatening diseases of the cardiovascular system. Through their work, they give patients a second Chance at life, but also to a significantly improved quality of life. Prevention, early diagnosis and innovative therapeutic methods, together they form the basis for a healthy heart and vessels in the future. Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the leading causes of death. Research shows that psycho-social factors, especially chronic Stress, and re-alarm reactions, a significant influence on the Occurrence and the progression of these diseases, repeated. The Alarm Mechanism: Physiological Basics The alarm mechanism, also called the Fight‑or‑Flight reaction is known, is triggered by activation of the sympathetic nervous system and the hypothalamic‑pituitary‑adrenal‑axis (HPA‑axis). In the case of perception of a threat to the hormones adrenaline and Cortisol are released. This leads to the following physiological reactions: Increased Heart Rate (↑ Heart Rate); Increased Blood Pressure (↑ Blood Pressure); Narrowing of the blood vessels (vasoconstriction); Increase in blood sugar levels. These reactions are evolutionarily useful to the body for short-term burdens to prepare. Long-term effects of repeated alarm reactions In the case of chronic Stress, the alarm mechanism is activated. This duration of activation, can lead to pathophysiological changes that increase the risk for CVD: High blood pressure (hypertension): the sustained vasoconstriction and increased heart rate, the blood pressure rises permanently. Hypertension is a major risk factor for heart attack and stroke. Atherosclerosis: a Chronic Stress promotes inflammatory processes in the vessel walls and may lead to the deposition of Plaques (hardening of the arteries). Cardiac arrhythmias: The constant activation of the sympathetic nervous system can affect the electrical stability of the heart and arrhythmias trigger. Metabolic syndrome: Elevated cortisol levels are associated with insulin resistance, abdominal fat accumulation and elevated Triglyceride – all factors that increase the cardiovascular risk. Empirical Findings Several epidemiological studies have confirmed the link between Stress and CVD: The inter-heart study identified psychosocial Stress as one of the five main risk factors for heart attacks in the world. Long-term studies (for example, the Whitehall II study) showed that occupational Stress is correlated with an increased risk for coronary heart disease. Patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), of being diagnosed with a significantly increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Prevention and Management In order to reduce the risk of CVD in connection with alarm reactions, the following measures are useful to: Stress management: methods, such as Meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, and Yoga can strengthen the activity of the parasympathetic nervous system and the stress response is slow. Regular physical activity: sports promotes relaxation, lowers blood pressure and strengthens the cardiovascular System. Healthy diet: A balanced diet with lots of fiber, Omega‑3 fatty acids and antioxidants, supports vascular health. Behavioral approaches: Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) can help you to change the stress-inducing thought patterns. Adequate sleep: lack of sleep increases the stress response; a regular and sufficient sleep is essential. Conclusion The connection between the alarm reactions, and cardiovascular diseases is well researched. Chronic Stress activates the alarm mechanism permanently, which leads to harmful physiological changes. Early identification of stress factors and a specific stress management diseases are therefore important elements in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Further research is necessary in order to understand the molecular mechanisms of this relationship in more detail and to develop effective interventions.
